UW Combined Fund Drive receives EarthShare’s National Campaign Award

1/20/09: Update: Thanks to the generosity of UW faculty, staff, students and retirees, the UW Combined Fund Drive raised a record-breaking $2,044,030 for charities in 2009. Congratulations on another great year for the UW CFD Campaign.

On June 17, 2009, Kerri Everly, development services officer for the University of Washington Combined Fund Drive, was presented with EarthShare’s 2008 National Campaign Award for Excellence as the outstanding public workplace giving campaign in the nation at EarthShare Washington’s annual meeting. The national selection committee based their decision on excellence in three key areas: leadership involvement, giving circle program, and year round campaign promotion. The outstanding private sector campaign award was presented to the global consulting and technology firm, Accenture, by EarthShare earlier this month. Congratulations University of Washington and Accenture!
