• $60 can buy three water quality test kits for students to take on field trips to learn about the ecology of Puget Sound.
• $120 can plant twenty trees, offsetting 20 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which the average American is responsible for emitting into the atmosphere each year.
• $500 can provide food, health insurance and local transportation for a young conservation trainee from Albania, Kenya, or Nepal to Seattle to learn and serve in Washington’s parks and natural areas.

Donations of $35 or more made by December 31, 2008 will also be entered to win one of two great prizes, a Patagonia Rain Shadow jacket or a Cascade Designs' Reactor stove.
