Eastern Washington near Republic in the Kettle Range. This trail winds 3.5 miles to the Kettle Crest Trail. And, the meadows along this trail are said to be some of the finest in the state. Although it doesn't have much log out work, it is in need of some tread work. Please join us for one day, or the entire weekend, as we work on getting this trail back in good shape for hikers.
Issaquah Alps. We will be working at the intersection of Wilderness Peak and Cliffs Trails. This section turns into a mud hole when it rains, and so we will work on solutions to improve this, possibly moving the trail to higher ground
This trail is situated in the Olympic National Forest, smack in the armpit of the Olympic rain shadow. The use of the trail is limited to hikers, horses and dogs only. We'll work 1.5 miles down on the Lower Dungeness trail on a slide area.
North Cascades off the Mountain Loop Hwy. This trail area is famed for its botanical richness, a waterfall, alpine meadows, views of the impressive wall of Big Four Mountain and the white volcano of Glacier Peak. It will soon have a new trail head (shared with Mount Dickerman), which will extend the hike a mile, but make parking much less stressful. The North Cascades. From Rainy Pass the Pacific Crest Trail proceeds south along Bridge Creek, providing access to a series of trails such as Twisp Pass and McAlester Trail. We'll work on the connector between Rainy Pass and the Bridge Creek trail head, starting at the Bridge Creek end, one mile down the highway, below Rainy Pass.
